WHAT IS THE APOLLYCON WORDSMITH SCHOLARSHIP?
The ApollyCon Wordsmith Scholarship was founded by Jennifer L. Arementrout to empower and uplift marginalized members of the book community by providing them with invaluable access to ApollyCon resources. Supported by a board of directors including, Nita Banks, Stephanie Brown, Matt Dellisola, and Vonetta Young, our mission is to foster an inclusive literary community where aspiring and established historically marginalized authors, readers, and industry professionals can thrive.
Through this scholarship, we aim to remove financial barriers, facilitate meaningful connections, and support the creative journeys of individuals who are passionate about the written word. We believe in the transformative power of literature and are committed to nurturing the talents and dreams of wordsmiths everywhere.
